KF5 Update Meeting Minutes 2013-w28

Hello everyone,

This is the minutes of the Week 28 KF5 meeting. As usual it has been held on 
#kde-devel at 4pm Paris time.

Were present: afiestas, apol, ben2367, dfaure, sebas, svuorela, wojtask9 and 
myself.

Announcements:
 * Akademy next week so no meeting on #kde-devel
 * Instead we'll have office hours every mornings at room B4;
 * We'll have a discussion on getting in release mode thursday afternoon,
   again in room B4.

Topics discussed:
 * SH_Widget_Animate still not in QStyle, aim is to get it in during QtCS next 
week;
 * afiestas is looking in QMainWindow and QToolBar related tasks to ensure 
KDE's HIG is followed properly;
 * apol's patch for QFontDatabase is in Qt now;
 * Some code ported away from KGlobalSettings to QFontDatabase is in 
preparation;
 * KCrash framework is in review;
 * QUrl API: progress! adjusted() and RemoveFilename have been approved 
(thanks Thiago) and merged;
 * QFileDialog+QUrl: debugging the current patch on Windows;
 * Moving scheduler+slave+jobs from kio to kiocore... in progress;
 * QCommandLineParser: reviewers wanted: https://codereview.qt-project.org/58979 ;
 * KPluginLoader work still in progress, should be completed during Akademy;
 * Reducing usage of deprecated in plasma-framework;
 * Buildsystem updates in plasma-framework;
 * svuorela is working on a kde4-config replacement named qtpaths to be 
directly shipped with Qt;
 * wojtask9 is looking in KAcceleratorManager and trying some port to XCB;
 * QDateTime new date formats is still in progress.

 * Priority for the coming week is still the KDEUI Crumble.

Action items still open:
 * [sandsmark] Finish the work on KPtyProcess
 * [steveire] Write a "CMake for frameworks" guideline in the wiki
 * [steveire] investigate why kde4support isn't usable from outside kdelibs
   (issue with the cmake file)
