The fix for all the kio-related tests is to
export QT_PLUGIN_PATH=$PREFIX/lib/plugins
(or lib64 if you're using that)

before starting kdeinit5.

I'm down to a much smaller number of failing tests than you, with Qt5.

114- khtmlparttest [currently investigating, looks like a miscompilation]
and:

  -> Plasma people, please take a look.

So if you have issues with other tests, after fixing your QT_PLUGIN_PATH, let's 
discuss that (email or irc), they should be easier to fix (e.g. to due different 
setup).
