[Kde-finance-apps] Fwd: Application for participation in Season of KDE 2010

Hello all,
we have a student who is interested in getting into Summer Of KDE.
I'm talking to him to get a working base for Alkimia (ie, a DBus
service that can receive, store and send financial transaction
information, with an Akonadi or SQL backend).
He will be subscribing to the list soon, and I already sent him some
pointers to documentation that will be helpful for this.
Is someone else interested on co-mentoring him? So that we have more
points of view for this.

I talked to Lydia Pintscher regarding participation in Season of KDE
2010. She told me that you are looking for some students for KDE
finance project. I want to tell you that i am really interested to
work for this project.I have been doing programming for about 4 years
but i am new to the open source world. I have programming experience
in C,C++,C# ,PHP MYSQL, HTML ,JavaScript and related markup languages
.I am looking forward to get a mentor who could guide me to work for
the open source community. It would be really pleased to work for the
KDE Finance Project.
