[Kde-extra-gear] Re: Branches and translations

Simple. As an example I take as always K3b:
I maintain a stable version (currently 0.12.x) and a devel version in trunk. 
The translators are now able to update the stable translations (even create 
completely new ones) while I add new strings to the trunk.
