[Kde-extra-gear] Search for Duplicates on command line?

Hello together,

I installed Suse Linux 9.3 incl. some kipi plugins. I tried the searchtool
for similar images.

is it possible to run it from command line (e. g. to compare folder A with
folder B)?

If not, which algorithm was used for this tool?
