[Kde-extra-gear] kcpuload and SMP/dual cpu not working

hello, has anyone gotten this to work? i dont get the
enable smp option when i compiled it. only when i go
through the source code, and i manually set the
variables to true, will it show that option. it then
shows me the grids for both cpus, but there is
actually no cpu information in it, just black boxes on
the kicker panel.

is there a rpm for redhat for kde extra gear btw?
