DigikamImagePlugins 0.7.3-beta1 is out for your image 
correction pleasure with digiKam image editor and showfoto.

The DigikamImagePlugins team is pleased to announce the new 0.7.3-beta1 
release.

DigikamImagePlugins are a collection of plugins for digiKam 0.7.3 Image 
Editor and showfoto (digiKam stand alone image editor implementation). These 
plugins add new image treatment options like color management, filters, or 
special effects.

Currently implemented plugins are listed below:

- New plugin 'Blowup Photograph' using CImg library <<<NEW>>>.
- New plugin 'Photograph Inpainting' using CImg library <<<NEW>>>.
- New plugin 'Photograph Restoration' using CImg library <<<NEW>>>.
- New plugin 'WhiteBalance' <<<NEW>>>.
- New plugin 'Texture' <<<NEW>>>.
- New plugin 'Blur FX' (using Pieter Voloshyn algorithm) <<<NEW>>>.
- New plugin 'Distortion FX' (using Pieter Voloshyn algorithm) <<<NEW>>>.
- New plugin 'Insert Text' <<<NEW>>>.
- New plugin 'Infrared Film' <<<NEW>>>.
- New plugin 'Channel Mixer' <<<NEW>>>.

- Adjust curves : a tool to adjust the image colors using curves. 
- Adjust levels : a plugin to adjust the image histogram levels manually.
- Despeckle : A noise reduction filter (using on Gimp 2.0 algorithm).
- Unsharp : An unsharped mask image filter (using on Gimp 2.0 algorithm).
- Free Rotation : a plugin to rotate an image with a free angle in degrees. 
- SolarizeImage : a plugin to solarize an image.
- OilPaint : an oil painting effect filter (using Pieter Voloshyn algorithm).
- Emboss : an embossed image effect filter (using Pieter Voloshyn algorithm).
- Raindrops : adding the visual effect of raindrops to an image (using Pieter 
Voloshyn algorithm).
- Charcoal : a charcoal drawing image effect filter.
- FilmGrain : simulate film grain to an image.
- LensDistortion : lens distortion correction tool.
- Anti-Vignetting : lens vignetting correction tool.
- Perspective : a tool for adjust photograph perspective.
- ShearTool : a tool for adjust photograph shearing.
- AddBorder : a tool for add decorative border around photograph.
- Superimpose : a tool for superimpose funny template under photograph. 

Improvements :

- 'AdjustCurves' plugin : add option to see over-exposed pixels in        
preview area.
- 'AdjustCurves' plugins : add black/gray/white tone picker color tools
- Add new template superimpose package with all contributions from recent 
digiKam kde-look.org contest.
