I think that they will eventually, because a lot distributors package even=

apps in kdenonbeta. Apps in the KEG are supposed to have releases and becau=
se=20
they are part of the KDE project they are more visible to translators,=20
documentation writers and probably also packagers and distributors.

Who told you that? I hope you did not misunderstand my mail!

That is certainly a misconception and I never intended to imply that the KE=
G=20
will have releases - it is only supposed to be a pool and to support the=20
contained apps. Every app is supposed to be released independently from the=
=20
others.

If it was really my mail that mislead you then I am very sorry for that and=
=20
hope that you will be happy with the way releases are handled, too.
