The chasing of people is indeed something that needs to be done at the 
conference itself. So if you can and want to come, you're more than welcome 
to help :-)
However, making sure that the schedules are correct is something that needs to 
be done in advance (unless a speaker cancels last-minute and we want to 
inform the people of this by hanging up pieces of paper regarding this). 
Typically this happens the week after the deadline for submitting devroom 
schedules.
