The borland conference is quite a big one, and going there is an opportunity for
* talking about KDE to many 'users' of Kylix (i.e. application developers).
* meeting some Borland Developers
* a nice free trip to California (incl. 5 stars hotel)
* oh, and even making some money (you have to write a ~ 12-pages
document about your talk, but they give some money for that work).

I did that last year (2001) - to be fair the only downside was the small number
of people attending my own talk (there are many talks in parallel).

Anyone interested for going this year?

Borland has begun planning for the 14th Annual Borland Conference to 
be held in San Jose, California the week of November 1-5, 2003.

The Borland Conference has developed a solid reputation as one of the 
most informative technical conferences in the industry. This year's 
conference will focus on the Internet, e-Commerce, and distributed 
computing in addition to the essential sessions that we always provide.
We would like to take this opportunity to invite you to submit abstracts 
to be considered for participation as a speaker/author for the
