KOffice in the Enterprise

Hi all,

at FOSDEM I gave an interesting talk about KOffice in Enterprise Environments.
KOffice is getting a very interesting competition to other products.

There are many aspects in KOffice that are already much better than with any
other office suite. For example, KOffice offers the most integrated
components, twice as many as OpenOffice.org and MS Office. Despite this it's
still more lightweight than any other major office suite, which results in a
small memory footprint (good for distributors, and embedded devices) and fast
application startup.

Kexi has become a serious alternative to MS Access (with migration tools) and
Krita is on its best way of becoming a professional painting application, a
direct competition to Photoshop and The Gimp.

KOffice was the first office suite with OpenDocument support, and with the
upcoming 1.5 release, OpenDocument is becoming the native format.
