Hello everyone,

I've been watching the traffic on this list for a while now, but not saying a
word. The reason for keeping tabs here is that I am in the process of
finishing my third book which will feature KDE 3.2 at the corporate desktop
of choice. In fact, the book is a blueprint for moving offices from Windows
to Linux desktops. In lurking here, I hoped to discover what people
considered important.

This is pretty much a shameless plug, but my second book, "Moving to Linux :
Kiss the Blue Screen of Death Goodbye!" concentrates on the user desktop,
specifically KDE 3.1. It covers basic desktop functions, Kmail, Konqueror,
KDE printing, CD burning, multimedia, games, etc.

Aside from bookstore sales to individuals, there are a few desktop Linux
training companies that are starting to use the book as their Linux desktop
guide. The desktop, in this case, is strictly KDE. The book comes with a
remastered Knoppix disk running, you guessed it, KDE.

Anyhow, forgive the shameless plug, but I thought that people who were
interested in KDE in the enterprise might want to know about this.

Thanks and take care out there.
