Anybody working on kig?

Hi everybody,

I really like kig, however I had to uninstall it from my Gentoo machine as it
caused some dependency conflicts. As I understand it this is basically due to
the outstanding port from Qt5 to Qt6. I looked and only found [1] and no other
activity in that direction. I'm contemplating trying my hand at this if no one
else is working on it. So is anybody working on it? And if not any pointers on
how to proceed?
