REVISION SUMMARY
  - use template function for dock widget creation
  - use template function for aspect list casting
  - use compile-time hashes for class name dependent branches (switch instead of if-else if-...) to save a lot of string comparisons

TEST PLAN
  Select objects in the project explorer and observe
  the dock widget.
