Hi Garvit, maybe you need to configure the qt plugin path in your system.

Put in your ~/.bash_profile file:

export QT_PLUGIN_PATH=/usr/local/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/plugins//lib/plugins

Run '$source ~/.bash_profile', run kbuildsycoca5 again, and try to run
Cantor one more time.

You can see more about runtime setup of KF5 based software in
https://community.kde.org/Frameworks/Building#Runtime_setup, but for
this time try just configure QT_PLUGIN_PATH variable.
