Kde-Edu in Kinder-garden

Hi,

actually, instead of all the teachers of all kindergartens, there where 
only one teacher of one and all of a second. The third Kindergarten 
thought that computer are usefull for children.
Except that everything went well. They are even willing to join our 
mailing list to give us  their experiences. The only problem is English, 
so I suggest they subscribe like Kindergarten to the mailings and then 
thay can discuss and send us email even from there. That was a success, 
after Randa I will set up the account.
We had problem with the group work. The computer I prepared were really 
slowly, and this depends on the Kubuntu 12.04 with backport for KDE 4.9. 
With the old version
Kubuntu 11.10 and  4.8.2 the same hardware was faster. I also had really 
big ploblem setting up application with more than one language (I hope 
someone at Randa can help me with that).
WEe have also some stability issues at least in Pairs. It crashed 6 
times. I think it has something to do with Phonon but I am not sure. 
I'll try to reproduce the problems and maybe have a look at the code or 
file a bug report.
At the end I also gave them the same presentation on Collaborative 
Learning that I will give at Randa. and they gave me some ideas how to 
create game to use with method.
All in all was a really good experience they got to know, Linux, 
KDE,KDE-Edu and they want to help.
Would be cool to have this presentation given to more Kindergarten and 
not only in Cologne
If someone wants to do it I have all presentation in English and German
