+1. I also heard of other instances like that.

One idea could be to have a standalone Windows installer for the old
version, and linked from the webpage as an interim solution. It is not
a hard task, but someone would need to do that. Recomemnding the 4.X
installer and 4.10 installers seperately to people will become
confusing.
