New Game (2)

Hi everyone,

I talked with the educators at the kindergarten and we have a 
"prospective switch" of the game flow.
I will try to compare the new model to the Pairs model of game.

In pairs the players are just one against the other and if one cannot 
find the match has to guess.
At the end this is competitive paradigm.

What we discussed is a collaborative paradigm.
Researches shows that kids learn more, and more effective in groups 
where they can collaborate with other children even of different age.
On the other end, experience tells that shy children tend to wait if 
someone else solve the problem for the group before they intervene,
and sometime even if they could contribute they still do not do so.

The Idea is to create a game that is played in group, but each component 
of the group get his/her turn in interacting with the game and he/she is 
let's say
the "group  ambassador" for the current turn.
Of course the educator has to be present and direct the game:
in fact the ambassador has to try to give the answer and only if really 
do not know it, he/she can ask his/hers teammates for the answer.

In this way both objective could be achieved: group collaboration and 
participation of all members.

I will really like to know what do you think about this.
