Hi,
I'm Cynthia Kenia Arcanjo Marcelino, brazilian, student of
computer Science.
I'm in the last year and had been looking for a project that
interests me. After search and think a lot i found the STEP -
Interactive Physical Simulator an applcation from KDE-Edu Project
thats got my attention for being a project that can help many other
students.
Many students from high school have difficulties to understand The
physics and and when you can see what you are doing, it's easy to
understood. So I had the idea of make a 3D STEP, it would be like the
current STEP but with graphics and simulations in three dimensions. I
think it would be so good for developers and users of the application.
I exposed the idea for my classmates and they were interested and
more two students join me: Jefferson Sanção Cardoso and Thiago Rodolfo
Rodrigues Santos, both in last year too. So we did a proposal to our
university to Port Step to 3D as a Conclusion project, and the
teachers liked a lot. we will need to implement it this semester,
which is also a GSoC
semester, and I tougth of joining forces.
Graciously,
