Hi Andreas,
First of all, congratulations and thanks for your work on KTouch.
Could you please comment on possibility of implementing some assistive  
functions, please? (for blind public wishing to learn typewriting):

1) ring the bell each time a wrong character is typed (the same way the  
text line becomes red at every wrong key typed)
2) Add TTS (for available languages) to:
  a) dictate characters/ words/ text to be typed-in
  b) spell characters being typed in
  c) read word/ line just typed in.
