[kde-edu]: R: Which learning platform for a LTSP system?

Well, I'm not sure of what you really need, I haven't understood
what level of students you are working with.

If you need an application for posting slides and texts of lessons
you can use Moodle: it's a PHP application, you have to put on a
website (it works also in a LAN, obiously).

If you need something to control the thin clients from the server
you need iTalc (or Gnome TCM, but it has been abandoned).
iTalc allows you to manage the desktop of students and show them
your desktop, so you can show them what they must do and then verify
if they are doing right. It's a really complete application.

If you need something to prepare and manage your lessons with
computers, you may wait until we release Plasma-Classroom, a new
desktop enviroment based on Plasma tecnology. You can also suggest
some features you would like to find in this enviroment.
