You're right. Something exists when you load that address with a text editor, 
but neither Akregator or Firefox make any sense of it.

The Edu feed you found would be the one to follow, I think. I'm copying this 
to the KDE Edu list to see if someone there can look into this and get that 
feed working or have some other ideas.
