Objet: [Bug 537944] Re: douarnenez (France) is in a wrong place
I've talked this through with a marble developer, and he is going to
report it on the kde bug tracker.
The problem seems to be that the correct co-ordinates of Douarnenez are
-4.35,48.1 but in the data files they are listed as 4.35,48.1 . As you
can see, the negative sign was left off, which caused the location of
Douarnenez to be the wrong side of Prime Meridian. But because prime
meridian goes through France, the error was small enough not to be
noticed until now.
Thank you for your report chevrel, and well done for noticing!
