My name is Carlos Licea and I've just became a member of KDE-edu as I
will be working on Marble for my GSoC project.

For suggestion of my mentor Torsten I'm introducing to you guys.

I think I should say a bit about me, I live in Mexico, I'm a
Computational Engineer student in the Tecnologico de Ciudad Juarez
University, currently I'm on my fourth semester. I'm 19 years old
(heading to 20). And this is my first "serious" project.

Basically I'll be working on marble's 2d projection capabilities. You
may see some of my application's details at
http://code.google.com/soc/kde/appinfo.html?csaid=DCE4DBD4A0509DC7 I
can't describe my enthusiasm for this project as I will be able to gain
more experience in my C++ skills, learn a lot from the more experienced
ones, discover the open source community in general and help a bit with
some of my time to this cause: the free software.

As I'm beginning I don't have a lot to say yet, but I hope to let you
know any major advances I can archive.

Have a nice coding summer, Carlos
