By the way, I'm noticing that there are small gaps between tickmarks
and the axis lines in the plots.  I only have access to OSX this
month, so I don't know if it's architecture-dependent, or maybe a Qt4
thing.  If anyone tries the plot test app under Linux (or one of the
Edu apps using KPlotWidget), can you tell me if you see detached
tickmarks in the plots?
