[kde-edu]: Kig will not install correctly

Hi all,

I am trying to install Kig-0.6 on my system (RedHat 9 - kernel 3.1). 
I have done the following:
./confiugre
make
make install

then when is done I try to run kig (/usr/local/kde/bin/kig) and I get the 
following error message:

		"COULD NOT FIND THe NECESSARY KIG LIBRARY, CHECK YOUR INSTALLATION"

can anyone help me?
