yes, I personally think it is. You seem to have tested the 2 quite well.
Maybe Domi could contact KGeo maintainer one last time to let him know
the state of KIG and about the features you sent patches for.
If there is no answer, then Dominique could, if everyone agrees, import KIG 
in
cvs after the freeze (please be sure you wait for the freeze to stop).
I don't think Kig will interfere with KMath or with anything else.
