At Akademy, in two weeks, I will give a presentation about what we achieved with the Sustainable Software goal. It began at Akademy two years ago and will conclude with this year’s event. A lot of you have contributed great stuff over the last two years, be it for the measurement of energy efficiency, showing sustainable aspects in our applications or reaching out to others in the wider community, and more.
What are the things you would like to see in the report? What have you worked on in the context of KDE Eco? What results have you achieved? What results have others achieved?
I’m collecting the input and will put it into the presentation. Please let me know, on- or off- list, what you think is relevant, and you would like to see mentioned. We are taking a broad perspective here. All the activities in KDE Eco and around are suitable topics.
And, by the way, the period of Sustainable Software being part of the formal goals of the KDE community will be over, but that doesn't mean that we will stop working on the topic. KDE Eco is more important than ever and there is still a lot we can accomplish there. So I’m looking forward to continue to work on the various aspects of the topic within this community.
