The 2nd Wednesday of the month is already next week! Time is flying by 
in the heat of summer :)

*Topic*: Emmanuel Charruau will present KdeEcoTest / KdeEcoTestCreator, 
a Python-based tool using xdotool to emulate user behavior in Standard 
Usage Scenario scripts.

_Details_

Over the past several months, Emmanuel has been working on the 
development of KDE Test Creator / KDE Test, which is written in Python 
and uses xdotool to trigger actions in the software being tested. 
Karanjot Singh is also contributing to the project.

A benefit of the KDE Test tools is that scripts are transferrable across 
different systems, while also being easy enough to use to make scripting 
quick. Emmnauel will present the tool to get feedback from the community 
and motivate those wishing to support development of the tool.

FYI in September the monthly meetup will likely be hosted in person at a 
get-together in Berlin and streamed online for those who cannot come. In 
October I will be on vacation and I would like to ask a community member 
to volunteer to organize the meetup while I am away. Anyone interested?
