Controller Calibration

I need to recalibrate my leverless fighting pad because for some reason the
directional inputs are sending a miniscule input value with no configurable
deadzone. The Game Controller section of the Settings program does not have
a calibrate option however, while the documentation says it should. Reports
to reddit and other locations have mentioned to flag this as a regression
in the KDE bug reports, but the only report I can find says this is working
as intended. So either the documentation needs to be updated and a new
calibration method needs to be made, or the regression needs to be fixed.
