Kubuntu improvement

Installed on a HP ENvy 1100sl i5 4G ram

- start and stop phases are slpw and without any indication on wat's going
on (blank screen) and this makes user thinking it's not working. This is a
general negative behaviour when it is operating on disk (always seem to be
frozen - I remember Linux used to have a rotating bar when busy)
- always starting with Ktorrent in plain window and didn't find option to
change startup, just uninstalling it. Find in "location" the startup folder
but there is not Ktorrent.
- Moreover, searched Location app to link on desktop icon but no way to
find it. Can only search in start menu every time.
- by right-mouse menu cannot send file/photo to other apps, like FB or
Telegram
- alt-Tab reaction is so slow that seems the function does not exit ...and
then it appears surprising while doing other things
- when opened 3-4 Apps the system slows a lot and seems to be frozen
since the mouse too doesn't react any more
- when launching an App don't get a feedback that it's going on, so
repeating the command again, once or more, launching more session of the
same App
- swap area is used before reacing 60% of RAM that stays, an yway, under
70%  while the system is continuosly swapping and slowing down

Shoul this address not be indicated for suggestion, please give a feedback
in roder to direct them appropriately.
