Hi, Kde docs team,

I was just reading the handbook for Kmymoney and notices it stated it is
not a business accounting software.

I run a very small business repairing and selling computers and
probably turn over £500 a month.and have been using kmymoney fro my
personal and business accounts since 2006. When I started business a I
realised that it was not worth paying two to three hundred pounds to
an accountant when I could do the job myself with such a small
turnover.

I looked for a reasonable priced accounting software, but found all
the business ones were too complicated and had loads of items i would
never use (ie, payrol, vat etc) and cost a fortune.

So I have always liked the philosophy of open source software, and
found KmyMoney.

It is excellent for a small business, it doesn't have all the bells and
whistlers I don't want,it is simple to use, enables me to print up
a tax return each year. Yes it probably would not suit a large
corporation, but for a small one man business it is perfect and it is
free, ( I would actually pay a small fee to purchase it).

Recently I had a look at Gnucash (open software) but found it far too
complicated compared to kmymoney. I haven't got time to spend hours
learning a a complicated system.

KmyMoney does have some niggles, however it is an excellent program,
adaptable, easy too use (very important when you are running a one man
operation -saves time). Which i am well impressed with and will be using
it for may years to come.

Than you developers and to all who have had an input to the program
