It's not a problem, exactly. I understand that "LDAP" stands for Lightweight Directory
Access Protocol. And I can look up most of the terminology on Wikipedia et al. The thing is,
I do my best writing about things that I can actually observe in action. And I can't locate an
existing LDAP server to play around with, so I can learn how the interface software in
KAddressBook actually functions. It looks as if most of the LDAP servers out there require
login credentials, which I don't have. I found a couple of sites that say they're set up for
programmers to practice on. But I can't get them to work for me.

Is there an LDAP server somewhere with an anonymous user setup, like some FTP sites
that still exist? Or do I have to set up an account somewhere? If so, where?
