            Bug ID: 379109
Summary: Update plasma doc to include new feature "Simplified
Global Shortcuts" (ModifierOnlyShortcuts) - meta key
                    only
           Product: docs
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: Missing Content
          Assignee: kde-doc-english at kde.org
          Reporter: prusselltechgroup at gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

This is a >= 5.8 Plasma documentation only request to reflect a new feature.

Link [1] below is the plasma documentation titled, "KDE Fundamentals" - "Common
Keyboard Shortcuts". I picked this page because it contains a special block
pertaining to the Meta key. It was also the page that came up when I did the
original search.

In Plasma 5.8, the Meta (super/win) key will trigger the menu/launcher. Could
the documentation be updated to:

1. Reflect plasma's new usage of the Meta key
2. How to configure/disable the feature

Link [2] talks about the issue.
Link [3] talks about the new implementation in plasma.
Link [4] official announcement (Simplified Global Shortcuts)
Link [5] talks about how to disable

IE Configure:
  ~/.config/kwinrc
  [ModifierOnlyShortcuts]
  Meta=
