The content pane (left pane) will not expand when you click on it ,neither the
(+) sign appears,
until you click on  the (Contents) link below in the (right pane).
This happens to some entries ,Like this ones:

-Plasma Manual
-Tutorials -> Quickstart Guide
-The KDE FAQ

Example of usage:
------------------------
click on Plasma Manual -> then click on Introduction on the right pane -> then
click on the 
Contents Link below
you will notice that the (Plasma Manual) link on the left pane has expanded :)
