Editing?  Only via a plugin.  The manual does not say how to edit EXIF and it is quite difficult to figure out what to do.
As it is, the metadata are presented read-only, and that information is confusing.

Also, I suggest making EXIF a hyperlink (to the external definition at <URL: http://exif.org/ >).
