If you *really*  try everything (changing the alignment in additional  
settings, removing spacers etc.) then the fastest way will be deleting (or  
moving) ~/.kde4/share/config/plasma-desktop-appletsrc ("rm -f  
~/.kde4/share/config/plasma-desktop-appletsrc", do not forget to logout  
before deleting). Alternative address can be  
~/.kde/share/config/plasma-desktop-appletsrc
