Quick View Panel isn't right name.
Quick Panel allows select files per pattern of file name.
View Panel doesn't allow select files. It allows to show view of selected file.

To show Quick Panel and View Panel clicking on green arrow in lower right
conner of List Panel and clicking the matching button.
