[kde-doc-english] How to start a "module"?

Hi,
when I was looking on how to change the file associations, I first 
searched for the term "default software" and found nothing. Browsing the 
TOC took me to the "File Associations" article which is informative but 
after reading it I missed the hint how "The module" as it is called in 
the article was to be started?

The most important information is missing.
