I really appreciate your comments and understand your point. It is only that I 
wanted to help kde-docs and I just could not find the way do do it 
efficiently without learning docbook. I did not know about the existence of 
the kde-wiki.
I certainly do not think another wiki should be initiated. This one is fine.

As for me I have already signed up for the wiki and I will post there all that 
I have done so far on the k3b manual. If anyone has time to docbook that 
content please feel free. I am at least happy that my work will not stay 
buried in my computer anymore.

All the stuff is mainly for the upcoming K3b 1.0 although some screenshots are 
still from 0.12.xx
