Hi,

I've reassigned https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=69079 to myself. Hope you 
don't mind.

I have started documenting and have a few things I cannot figure out. I hope 
you can provide answers.

1. At risk of asking the obvious. What is the Text View used for?

2. Blend URL with Diff. What is the use case for this?

3. Diff Options dialog. What is the "Run Diff in" field for?

4. Many encodings to choose from. What is the default and how can default be 
changed?

5. I cannot open many of the tests provided in SVN. Are they any diff types 
not supported?

6. What install and configure options would you give to a person building 
Kompare?
