I should have give more explanation on the log. I have a softlink from 
/home/kuasdev/kdedev to /opt/devel/kdedev.

My space in /home is very limited. I can't fit 4 GB KDE development 
environment. It is easier to make simlink, besides the instructions are 
from the home directory.

I don't think this is really the problem.
