The freeze happens "always" and at "random".
In the handful of times I tried it, I always managed to get the freeze, 
but in order to get the freeze I tried to change the running animation 
through the select box multiple times. It took variable number of 
attempts to get the freeze.

Than, I would scratch that the specific GPU is an issue.
