I'd still attempt to brainstorm something, hmm:

Long form: There will be no more releases of Okular 24.12.x as Okular 25.4.x 
is the next release series.  (Essentially slightly paraphrasing what you 
said.)

Or, in generic form:

No more releases planned for this series of the project as a new series will 
be released.

To make it less generic, insert Okular, and the relevant version numbers as 
appropriate.
