Hi, I was recently in touch with a computer engineering student named
Onat (in CC) who would like to contribute to the KDE Eco project. We
discussed the idea of developing a tool to guide Windows users when
upcycling their devices to Linux. You can read more here:

https://community.kde.org/SoK/Ideas/2025#Win2Linux-Chooser:_An_app_to_help_migrate_from_Windows_to_Linux

And here is the first draft of a proposal:

   https://invent.kde.org/teams/eco/opt-green/-/issues/112#note_1091759

Would anyone here like to mentor software development in the project?

I am not a developer and can help with all of the non-coding aspects
(writing, planning, documentation, reporting, etc.).

If you are interested, write me an email and I can send more details
about mentoring in SoK if you are not familiar with it (deadlines,
timeline, etc.).

Cheers,
Joseph
