I'm definitely not trying to get the KDE community to develop something for me. As I said earlier, I am starting this discussion solely because I am aware that AI is a very sensitive topic and I wanted to make sure that there was reasonable support before I just kicked off development.

With that being said, I appreciate your take. KDE does support clients for various nonfree services (e.g. KMail has support for Microsoft Exchange); while KDE obviously don't promote them, it understands that many people do use them, and it's worthwhile to provide support for those people.
