Do you use votes on Bugzilla tickets to help you make decisions?

If we were to remove them, users would have no way to show that they care about a bug aside from adding annoying "Please fix this, it is important to me"-comments. So in that sense it serves a similar purpose as the duplicates count. Duplicates count is very imprecise though because there will be more duplicates for bugs that are difficult to search for. Votes aren't a great metric either but it is sometimes interesting tp me to see when many people felt compelled to vote on a bug.
So I do look at them as an additional metric to see how many people are negatively impacted by a bug. I don't feel that strongly about them overall though.
