I have been working on porting from Qt Webkit to Qt WebEngine. I am getting fairly close to being ready to push a WIP merge request. That should make it easier to work on the security issue mentioned below, as it completely eliminates the need for Qt Webkit.

Trojita has its own mailing list, see the E-mail section on http://trojita.flaska.net/
Not sure if the mailing list is still up.
