[kde-de] KDE friert beim Start des Fenstermanagers ein

Hallo Mainlingliste,

ich betreibe KDE auf einem Debian Woody System (2er Version aus Debian
stable).

Der Rechner läuft nun schon seit mehreren Monaten durch KDE ist hervorragend
gelaufen. Durch einen Reeboot friert mein System leider beim Start des
Fenstermanagers immer ein. Ihr könnt Euch das so vorstellen:

Eingabe von startx
nvidia-Bildschirm meldet sich (ich habe es auch schon ohne ausprobiert -
geht trotzdem nicht)
KDE-Startbildschirm erscheint
Beim Icon Start Fenstermanager friert das System ein

In der /var/log/messages und auch in der /var/log/syslog finde ich keine
Einträge zum KDE-Start.

Auch in der XFree86.0.log finde ich nichts besonderes (siehe untern).

Wenn ich auf einer Konsole top mitlaufen lasse, friert das System ein, wenn
kdeinit läuft.

Was kann ich dagegen tun?

Hat jemand eine Idee?
