dcopserver not starting...

Guys,

 

I just installed kde 3.4.1.

 

The dcopserver doesn't start up.

 

I have checked directory permissions of /tmp/.ICE-unix and my home
directory.

 

Unfortunately it is nothing as trivial as that.

 

 

I get the famous:-

 

DCOPClient::attachInternal. Attach failed Authentication Rejected, reason :
None of the authentication protocols specified are supported and host-based
authentication failed

DCOPServer self-test failed.

ICE Connection rejected!

 

I have attached the output of cygcheck -s for your consideration.
